We are pleased to announce that on October 24, 2023, the Leesburg Town Council officially adopted the Leesburg Economic Development Strategic Plan, a comprehensive roadmap charting the course for our community’s prosperity. The Plan was developed by an outside consultant, who spent seven months engaging with local business owners, developers, residents, and external organizations, and represents a collaborative effort. It acknowledges the important relationship between economic development and tourism, offering initiatives in both domains. The Department of Economic Development is excited to integrate this plan into our collective vision, working closely with other departments to utilize its recommendations.
